The library mission is to serve the Greater Portland
Community by providing a diverse collection of books and other
resources, with access to information resources worldwide. The
library's services support the educational,
informational, and recreational interests of all community
members.

PPL
Planning and Your Involvement
The Library conducts on-going
planning exercises including on-line survey's assist in the
development of Library programming and the direction of the
Library's planning.
We
have recently completed Phase I and reopened our renovated Main
Library on Monument Square. If you are interested in
learning how to support the next phase of the renovation, please
