Mission
The library mission is to serve the Greater Portland
Community by providing a diverse collection of books and other
resources, with access to information resources worldwide. The
library's services support the educational,
informational, and recreational interests of all community
members.

PPL
Planning and Your Involvement
The Library conducts on-going
planning exercises including on-line survey's assist in the
development of Library programming and the direction of the
Library's planning.
Six
Neighborhood Meetings
were completed in November 2008 which captured comments and
observations from community members.
We are currently planning and
fundraising for an exciting renovation
of the downtown Main Library. Contact Genetta
