Interlibrary Loan Service

Welcome to the Portland Public Library Interlibrary Loan Service.  We borrow items not owned by PPL from other libraries for our patrons and for libraries in the Southern Maine Library District.  We also lend materials and provide photocopies to other libraries. 

Use the appropriate link below to get started. If you need more than one volume, please fill out one form for each item needed.

We will also accept ILL requests from other libraries via OCLC or U.S. mail (using a standard ALA form). Please note that Interlibrary Loan is a transaction between institutions. We are not able to send materials to individuals; contact your local library for assistance.
