The book club will provide an opportunity for girls to read the best contemporary fiction that focuses on issues many girls are facing today. OUT OF MY MIND will be today's title.

French Preschool Story Time

Location: Main Library, Sam L. Cohen Children’s Library
Audience: Kids & Families
The Sam L. Cohen Children’s Library will be hosting a weekly story time in French led by Marie-Gaëlle Casset-Ford from La Petite Ecole. This program for preschoolers will be a half hour of French stories, songs & activities.

Preschool Story Time

Audience: Kids & Families
Come and enjoy this interactive story time for 3 - 5 year olds and their parents/caregivers. It is a program of songs, finger rhymes, chants, movement and picture books. The activities promote language development and pre-literacy skills.

Eat Well Play Hard

Location: Main Library, Sam L. Cohen Children’s Library
Audience: Kids & Families
Eat Well Play Hard is a series of 6 sessions designed to teach preschool children about healthy eating and the importance of regular physical activity. The program is facilitated by a nutritionist from Healthy Portland.

Read to Grace!
3:30pm - 5:00pm
Location: Main Library, Sam L. Cohen Children’s Library
Audience: Kids & Families
Grace, an 8 year old yellow Labrador retriever will be visiting the Sam L. Cohen Children's Library to encourage children to read and to be a furry, non-judgmental listener to readers. Sign up in advance for a 15- minute session to read to Grace.
