Shorter Hold Times

Check your hold pickup dates!

Effective starting November 14, 2023, PPL will be shortening the amount of time that items placed on hold will be reserved . Please pick up your items by the date shown in your hold email so we can continue to circulate our collection as widely as possible.

We lengthened our pickup time during the pandemic, and we are now shortening it again to improve the flow of materials and to sync with our partner libraries throughout the state. The length of time to pick up will be 7 business days, defined by days of opening at the owning and lending locations. This is variable, so it’s extra important to look at the specific date indicated for each item. We apologize for any inconvenience.
