Maine Community Law Center Series: Protection from Abuse Matters

Petra Lee, Esq. would discuss Maine’s Protection from Abuse process, providing a roadmap for unrepresented plaintiffs in need of the Court’s protection.  This presentation will include information about how to obtain and fill out the necessary forms in a protection from abuse matter, how to frame the issues in the complaint in conformity with Maine’s definition of abuse, and how to prepare for a protection from abuse hearing.
