National Novel Writing Month Film Series

To celebrate National Novel Writing Month in November, the Portland Public Library presents a film series about writers.  Join us for three films that center around writing a book.  Each film will be shown in the Rines Auditorium from 7:30-9:00pm.

Nov. 7: Adaptation

A love-lorn script writer grows increasingly desperate in his quest to adapt the book The Orchid Thief.  Starring Nicolas Cage, Meryl Streep, and Chris Cooper.

Nov. 14: Shadowlands
