Teen Nature Photography Workshop

Audience: Teens
This summer, join us for a 2-day workshop to learn techniques for taking photos in nature using a phone or camera. Participants will have a chance to put their skills into practice during a guided trip to nearby Deering Oaks Park. At the end of the workshop, students can choose a photo to include in an installation in the Teen Library.
Beginners are welcome! Space is limited, so please register here.
When: Tuesday, August 1 & Wednesday, August 2, 3:30 PM — 5:00 PM
Where: Teen Library, Downtown Library
Who: Teens grades 6 to 12 OR ages 12 to 19

About the Instructor:
Cynthia Farr-Weinfeld specializes in photographing landscapes, stemming from from her love of the Maine outdoors and her connection to nature. Her photos have appeared in Downeast Magazine, Popular Photography, Digital Camera Magazine, Old House Journal, Yankee Magazine, and Maine Food & Lifestyle Magazine.
