Teen Health: the PPL Teen Library has what you need to answer all your health questions. Find community resources and referrals, or browse our collection of informational health books written specifically for teens. If you don’t feel like asking, our goal is to make it easy for you to find resources about even the most personal questions on your own.

Don’t go to Google! Find reliable, current, and factual health info online with MedlinePlus Teen Health or Teen Health & Wellness. Use these resources to answer your own questions or to research topics for school assignments.

The Portland Public Teen Library is committed to helping our teen patrons find reliable and safe health information and services. This page contains trusted resources for local teens searching for health care and support in the Southern Maine and Greater Portland areas.

Our goal is to bring topical and relevant conversations directly to the young people who use our library. We invite teens to share a snack and a conversation with a diverse array of passionate professionals working in the Portland community.
