Love and Pride Call for Submissions

EqualityMaine, in partnership with Through These Doors and Portland Public Library, wants to hear about how your relationships with others have changed during this period of isolation and social distancing. Your submission should be an original artistic work that answers the question:

How do you show and receive love, affection, and intimacy right now?

We are asking folks to send along their answers in the form of a story, a poem, a piece of art, a dance, or even a song. You can send us an image, video, or just the words of your story. Submissions will be showcased in an online event, and will be preserved as part of Portland Public Library’s Isolating Together project.

To send a submission, go to EqualityMaine’s website. We are accepting submissions indefinitely.
