Portland Public Library’s Reading Dog program, Come! Sit! Read! will be continue with our three furry, non-judgmental listeners Emmie, Flip and Baxter! Children can sign up in advance to read to Emmie/Flip@ The Children's Library or Baxter@Riverton.
One-on-One Technology Tutoring
4:00pm - 6:00pm

Audience: Adults, Seniors
Whether you’d like help mastering the job search, downloading ebooks, or refreshing your basic computer skills, our half-hour tutoring sessions might be the place to turn. You name the topic and we’ll work together on one of PPL’s laptops.
Main Library Book Group
5:30pm - 6:30pm

Audience: Adults
The Main Library Book Group for adults meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 5:30-6:30pm in Meeting Room 2. Discussion is facilitated by a staff member. This month the group will be discussing My Struggle Book 3: Boyhood by Karl Ove Knausgaard.
Peaks Middle School Book Club
5:45pm - 6:45pm
Location: Peaks Island Branch
Audience: Teens
This age reader loves to read books, lots of books, and share what they are reading with others. For this club there is no specific book that everyone reads each month. Instead everyone comes together to share what they are reading right now.
