Black History Film Series: Get On the Bus

Location: Main Library, Rines Auditorium Audience: Adults, Seniors Charles S. Dutton heads the cast in this story about a group of black men on a cross-country bus trip to the Million Man March, which took place in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 16, 1995. Directed by Spike Lee.

Black History Film Series: Basquiat

Location: Main Library, Rines Auditorium Audience: Adults, Seniors Biopic of the young graffiti artist from Brooklyn who took the New York art world by storm in the early 1980s. Directed by Julian Schnabel, this 1996 film features an all-star cast.
