Babies (0-2)
You’re never too young to start summer reading! By interacting with your child through talking, singing, reading, writing, and playing, you are helping them learn the skills they’ll need to become good readers.
Children (3-12)
You have your choice of goals. Read or listen to eight books this summer and track them on your reading log. You can also choose to fill out the bingo board on the reading log that is full of summer learning activities.
Teens (12-19)
This year, you’re in charge. Join our summer learning community and focus on your own reading goals this summer.
Adults (20+)
Who says Summer Reading is just for kids?
Every year, a Maine author chooses two books – fiction and nonfiction – for statewide reading and discussion. This year, author Jaed Coffin selected Moon In Full by Marpheen Chan and The Road to Dalton by Shannon Bowring.
