Awesome Offer from TumbleBooks

TumbleBooks offers free access to libraries and schools until August 31.

Our patrons have enjoyed TumbleBooks for years – it is one of our most popular databases.  At this most extraordinary time with schools and libraries closed around the state and around the country, TumbleBooks is offering access to some of their other databases: TumbleMath (K-6 Math ebook database) and AudioBookCloud (which includes titles for children through adults.)  In addition there is a Teen Book Cloud for grades 7-12 and an Adult Romance data base that can be found in the Resources for adults.

We thank TumbleBooks for their generosity – and hope our patrons enjoy these new resources.

The Great Websites for Kids site is evolving into Notable Children’s Digital Media. Content highlighted on this site will include ALL forms of digital media, not just websites. The charge of the new Notable Children’s Digital Media Committee (http://www.ala.org/alsc/notable-children-digital-media-committee) is: To evaluate, select, annotate, and present a list of notable digital media of interest to children which is updated on a continual basis.
