Teen Events: the main event happens every day after-school at the main branch. Here teens can collaborate, study, socialize and game. Seating and technology in the Teen Library are reserved for teens only. Mentors and tutors of teens are welcome to join their students to use our study rooms, computers, collections, or ask a Teen staff member for assistance.

In addition to our daily routine, the Teen Library plans a variety of teen events and special programs throughout the year. Check in below for highlights of upcoming events as well as ongoing Teen series.

On the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, Pride@PPL invites a new generation to learn about the history of the LGBTQ+ Rights Movement and create an artistic response for display in our Teen Library.

Many Voices at PPL Teen is a book group with two purposes: (1) to recognize the need for all teens to see themselves mirrored in the books on our shelves, and to use fiction as a window into other lives, cultures, and worldviews beyond their own; (2) to create a space for the diverse teen voices in our own community to share the books that excite and engage them. Each month is a free-choice read based on a unique theme.
