Create a design for our new Teen Library computer mouse pads! Submit your physical or digital design by October 31 and PPL patrons in the Teen Library can vote on their favorite.

The Teen Library Art Wall is a space for local artists to display work made by teens or art with teen appeal. The gallery began with teens requesting “more art in the space!” and was installed in 2023. It is meant to be ever-changing, showcasing the many talented creators across Portland while adding vibrancy to the space.

Register to join local cartoonist Isabella Rotman on five consecutive Saturday afternoons to draw comics! In this class, we will cover the basics of comics making, including comics terminology, character design, setting, expressions, and the comics-making process. Each student will write, storyboard, draw, and self-publish their own comic from start to finish.

This free series is for anyone over 16 and all materials will be provided. All skill levels welcome—novice artists and seasoned cartoonists alike! Registration is closed.

Join us for our monthly Button Club in the Teen Library to design and make your own wearable buttons! We meet on the third Thursday of each month.

Visit the Teen Library on Thursday and Friday afternoons to play video games on the Teen Library’s PS4. We have FIFA, Mortal Kombat, Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, and NBA 2k!
